Over the next few days you may see that the look and/or feel of the site jumps around between different themes. The reason for this is that I am still not entirely satisfied with the way that the theme I am currently using displays the articles posted here.
I think my ADHD plays a part in this, but I just can’t seem to find a site them for ADHDFamilies that I can fall in love with. Sure, there are a lot of good magazine style themes out there, but nothing on the market right now suits all the needs or wants that I have and to be honest, not too many of them are what I would call great.
I know that I could switch to a standard blog-type theme, but I really feel that the magazine layout suits the kind of information ADHDFamilies has to offer in a more concise manner than a linear flow arrangement. It frustrates me even more to know that while I do have the skills to make a theme that would fit all of my needs perfectly, I just don’t have the time.
So please be patient with me while I plod through the themes available. Hopefully one of them will finally fit the bill. If not, then It looks as though I’ll have to make the time to design my own, not something I’m really looking forward to, but a far better solution than absolutely detesting the way the articles here are laid out.
