Do you or your company still use Checks. I know that in the age of the debit card, checks have become less common in the checkout line, but everyone with a bank account still has a checkbook lying about somewhere, don’t they. have you used yours lately? If not, why?
Are you paying all of your bills online instead of using your Personal Checks? I know that we do, but there are a lot of organizations that still require that you pay by check, and we specifically don’t deal with businesses that require that form of payment. We move around too much for the hassle of late payments, but I doubt that all of my readers have that option.
So if you are using checks, are they personalized, or just those nasty samplers that the bank sends out? Personally, I like my checks to reflect my personality and attitude, so I have two different checkbooks. One for things like sending money to my kids on Holidays and birthdays. (Those have a happy little puppy swallowing a cat on ‘em) and the checks I use when I’m paying things related to my business. (Can you believe that those are strictly businesslike? Who would have thought!)
If your in business and don’t handle payroll through direct deposit, you’re probably going to need some checks that are printable in your laser printer. This saves time, money and the issues that can be caused by a hand-written check at some banks. (one with the initials W.F. comes to mind.)
So how do you use checks? Do they have puppies or kittens on them? Are they just for business?
