Families that include children with ADHD are often blended families.  While divorce or relationship issues are not a cause of ADHD, ADHD can at times be the cause of divorce or relationship issues, whether in adult ADHD or with an ADHD child and the added stresses on a relationship can cause a breakup, which hopefully leads to a more stable second relationship. No matter hat the reason, blended families present a series of challenges that are all their own.

Having a little insight into the blended family from someone who is right in the middle of “the blender” can be helpful, and I’ve found a wonderful resource for that in Blended Families, a blog by Nicole Humphrey.  This blog shares her insights into being a part of a blended family, and i think it would be a good read for anyone else in the same situation.
