God Diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder.
By Jerry • Feb 5th, 2008 • Category: Bipolar Disorder Blog Entries, Blog EntriesNo, I’m not making this up. I found this blog post over at antipsychiatry that cites a press conference statement by Rev. Dr. J. Henry Jurgens, a practicing psychiatrist and doctor of divinity at Yale University Divinity School.
The good Reverend makes a good argument of it, i’ll admit that, but to be honest, I think I’d have to consider the alternatives to making a statement like this one pretty carefully. I mean honestly, the being he’s just diagnosed has been known to turn people to pillars of salt, cause floods, earthquakes and send forth plagues of locust. (not to mention allowing mankind to partake in politics!)
Go take a look, it’s a fun read.
